1.         Evans Ikua, BSc (Nbi), CISA

            Lead Consultant

With over 12 years experience in IT and business development in Kenya, Evans leads a team  eight people who work or consult for LANet Consulting. He has experience in IT governance, IT security consulting, system administration, networking, user support, training, sales, marketing, key account management, and customer service. His technical skills include IT security management, IS Auditing, Risk assessment, networking, training and general IT service support.

Evans serves on the Kenya Bureau of Standards technical committee on IT security techniques. This committee is reviewing the adoption of the ISO/IEC 27000 series of IT Security standards in Kenya as well as other standards related to IT security.

Mr Ikua is a member of the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA), the Computer Society of Kenya and the founding Chairman of the Linux Professional Association of Kenya. He is a qualified IS Auditor, and is currently studying for the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) exam, the Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT (CGEIT) exam and Project Management Institute Certification.

2.          Patrick Kiniti, BSc, MCSE, CCNA, CCNP, Advanced Dip (IMIS)
Chief Technical Officer
Patrick has over 10 years experience as a systems Engineer and also in the IT training industry in Kenya and also in. He has implemented various systems in leading organizations in the private and public sector. Mr Kiniti is a seasoned Linux administrator, System Engineer and trainer, with experience in the migration of systems to Linux, such as mail servers, Disaster recovery solutions, active directories, LDAP, IDS and IPS systems, Firewalls, and other security applications.

3.         Maxwel Mwaura (MCP)

Business Manager
Maxwel worked for 23 years as a system administrator at Commercial Bank of Africa, one of the leading banks in Kenya. He brings a wealth of experience to the team and is in charge of our account management team. He is highly experienced in financial systems management and the management of mission critical infrastructure.

4.          Kiburi Njuguna BA (Hons), CPAK
Risk Analyst
Mr Njuguna, a Cetified Public Accountant, is a highly experienced risk manager. He has worked for 15 years at Unilever Tea (Brooke Bond) where he held various positions in the Finance department. He retired in 2007 to pursue his personal interests.

5.         John Gichuki, MCSE, CCNA, CEH, CPTP,  OSCP.
            Security and Forensics Analyst.

John is one of the leading penetration testers in the region. He is highly qualified in the field of IT security and has also conducted a lot of research on ethical hacking. He has advised leading institutions in Kenya regarding security implementations and computer forensics, both in public and private sector. He has over ten years hands on security and system engineering experience. Some of the organizations that he has consulted for include Barclays, KACC, DoD, CID, Cellullant, KRA etc.
